By accessing or using Title Work AI ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including landmen, attorneys, and oil and gas professionals.
Title Work AI is an AI-powered software tool that assists oil and gas landmen with document processing, title research organization, and run sheet preparation. The Service uses artificial intelligence to extract data from uploaded documents and organize that data into chain-of-title run sheets.
THE SERVICE DOES NOT PROVIDE LEGAL ADVICE. All output generated by Title Work AI, including but not limited to extracted document fields, run sheets, chain-of-title analyses, gap detection flags, and any other AI-generated content, is provided for informational and organizational purposes only.
All AI-generated output must be independently verified by a qualified, licensed professional — including but not limited to a licensed landman or oil and gas attorney — before being relied upon for any legal, financial, or business purpose. You acknowledge that title examination is a professional service requiring licensed expertise and that Title Work AI is a productivity tool, not a substitute for professional judgment.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Title Work AI AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI EXTRACTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

You retain ownership of all documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant Title Work AI a limited license to process those documents solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you. We do not use your documents to train AI models. Documents are stored securely and are not shared with third parties except as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., AI processing via Anthropic API).
The Service is offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and ceasing use of the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
